2. Account Registration and Compliance

Registration with Local Authority: All food businesses using the Hi-Fresh Eats platform must be registered with their local authority as required by applicable regulations. This ensures that businesses are recognized by local health and safety authorities and comply with local laws.

Food Safety Management System: Businesses must adapt their Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to ensure all food placed on the market is safe to eat. This includes identifying any new risks associated with delivery operations and implementing procedures to mitigate those risks.

 

3. Use of the App

The app is intended for personal, food-related-commercial use. You must not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

 

4. User Responsibilities

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for any activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

 

5. Ordering and Payment

Order Placement: Orders can be placed via the app, ensuring that all relevant allergen information is provided clearly to customers before purchase.

Provision of Allergen Information: Businesses must provide allergen information to customers either orally (via phone) or in writing (through the app or printed menu).

Informing Customers About Allergen Information: It is mandatory to inform customers where they can obtain allergen information prior to placing an order.

Payment: All orders placed through the app are subject to acceptance by us. You agree to pay all charges incurred by your use of the app, including applicable taxes and delivery fees.

 

6. Food Hygiene and Safety

Adhering to Hygiene Principles: Businesses must adhere to the four main principles of food hygiene: cleaning, cooking, chilling, and avoiding cross-contamination.

Proper Food Storage: Food must be stored in sealed containers at the correct temperature to prevent contamination and maintain safety.

Reviewing and Updating HACCP Procedures: Regular review and updating of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures are required to accommodate delivery services.

 

7. Delivery Standards

Maintaining Proper Temperature: Cold food must be kept at or below 4°C (39.2°F) and hot food above 60°C (140°F) before packing and during delivery if no warming or refrigerating device is available. Otherwise, delivery must be completed within one hour of preparation.

Cleaning Delivery Vehicles: Delivery vehicles must be cleaned before and after each delivery to prevent contamination.

Using Suitable Containers: Suitable containers and tamper-evident packaging must be used to ensure food safety during transit.

 

8. Withdrawal and Recall

Withdrawing Unsafe Food: In the event of a food safety issue, businesses must withdraw unsafe food and complete an incident report as required by regulations.

Informing Customers About Withdrawal or Recall: Customers must be informed about the withdrawal or recall and the reasons for it through clear communication channels.

 

9. Transactions Outside the Platform

User Responsibility: Any user that engages in transactions outside of the Hi-Fresh Eats platform does so at their own risk. Hi-Fresh Eats is not responsible for any issues or disputes arising from such transactions.

 

10. User Content

Content License: By submitting content (e.g., reviews, comments) to the app, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and display such content.

 

11. Prohibited Activities

You must not engage in any activities that violate any laws or regulations, infringe upon the rights of others, or disrupt the functionality of the app.

 

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason.
